            Lauder was named honorable mention All-State one year; All-State first team one year, All-County two years, fifth team All-American. Other sports are basketball and track. Bobby played three years varsity football, was captain and co-captain of his team. Specialty - running and punting. Grid statistics - 17 touchdowns (1955) 102 points.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
