 High School Bio:

            Chambers was considered an all-purpose threat at Highland Home. He ran for 711 yards and 12 touchdowns, had 389 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. On Defense he registered six interceptions, tow of which he returned for touchdowns. He accounted for 33 touchdowns as a junior.

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
