 Jamey DuBose 

Jamey DuBose graduated from Opp High School in 1988. He earned a Bachelors degree in Physical Education from Troy University in 1994.

DuBose started his coaching career at Eufaula High School where he coached the defensive line and the running backs. He was also the head baseball coach while at Eufaula between 1994-1996.

In 1996 he served as the Offensive Line coach and run game coordinator. During the 1999 season Coach DuBose worked as the offensive coordinator for Ashville High School.

In 2000 he served as the wide receivers coach at Alma Bryant High School for one season before moving over to Gadsden for a season as the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach. DuBose landed his first head coaching job at Susan Moore High School in 2002 where his teams went to the playoffs both seasons he was the head coach.

Coach DuBose moved to Prattville High School in 2004 and served as the offensive coordinator. In 2008, DuBose was named head coach and athletic director of the Prattville Lions following the departure of Bill Clark.

During his first year as Prattvilles head football coach, the Lions won the Class 6A State Championship and became one of only three teams to ever three-peat as 6A State Champs. Coach DuBose was named All-Metro Coach of the Year and All-County Coach of the Year in 2008.

DuBose stepped down at Prattville to accept the head coaching job at Florence High School in 2012. He led Florence to 7-4 and 9-4 records before jumping to Central Phenix City in the summer of 2014 where he took over the head coaching duties.

His 2018 team dominated the entire season capped off with a 52-7 victory over Thompson in the Super Seven Championship Game.

Entering the 2019 season, Coach DuBose has compiled a record of 125-38 in thirteen seasons as a head football coach.
